- Pianist, composer and producer.
Born in Barcelona in 1961 Ernest studied in the Conservatori Municipal de Barcelona. In 1979 he began his professional career working with bands such as, among others, Moto Clua, Diego Cortés, Orquestra Serpentina, Aurelio y los Vagabundos and Morfi Grei.
Later a new stage in his career commenced as a Studio musician and programmer with Alfred Domènech and Josep Màs "Kitflus" in KS Studios which led to collaboration on more then 50 recordings. He also has worked as a session musician with renowned artists such as Joan Manel Serrat, Rocio Jurado, The Drifters, Los Salvajes, Lorenzo Santamaria, Joan Amèric, etc.
During the 1990s he entered a new phase in his career, under the direction of Manolo Gas,working in musicals such as: Golfus de Roma (1994- Spanish tour), Sweeney Todd (1996 Teatro Poliorama - 2009 Teatro Español), Guys'n Dolls (Teatre Nacional de Catalunya 1998), A Little Night Music (Teatro Novedades 2000), The Full Monty (Teatro Novedades 2001), and finally Follies (Teatro Español 2012) under the musical direction of Pep Pladellorens.
In conjunction with this he has also made over a thousand arrangements for dance bands, classical groups, duets and tunes for diverse companies and schools.
Currently he teaches piano, harmony, programming and chart writing. He has just finished his first recording of original compositions entitled¨Transit¨.
